Home prices grew 4.0% year-over-year in February, according to the S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller Index. The price growth slowed from January, which recorded a 4.2% annual increase in home prices.
The 10-City Composite had a year-over-year increase of 2.6%, and the 20-City Composite grew 3.0%. Both gains were lower than the month prior.
Las Vegas, Phoenix and Tampa had the highest annual gains among the 20 cities, growing 9.7%, 6.7% and 5.4%, respectively.
