The number of contract signings decreased by 1.2% compared with March 2018, however, making March 2019 the 15th consecutive month of year-over-year declines in pending home sales.
Regionally, pending home sales in the Northeast had a month-over-month decline of 1.7%, while pending home sales in the Midwest, South and West had increases of 2.3%, 4.4% and 8.7%, respectively.
