USITC: U.S. Wood Molding Producers ‘Materially Injured’ By Unfair China Trade

U.S. wood moldings and millwork producers are “materially injured” by imports of wood moldings and millwork products from China that are subsidized and sold in the U.S. at a “less than fair value,” according to the U.S. International Trade Commission.

The USITC will move forward to impose antidumping duties of 45.49% to 230.36% and countervailing duties of 20.56% to 252.29%, according to the Decorative Hardwoods Association.

China has spoken out against the investigation’s findings and stated that it “harms the interests of Chinese companies and U.S. downstream industries and consumers,” China Daily reports.

The full USITC report will be published March 1
