Small business optimism increased 2.9 points in June to 102.5 on the NFIB Optimism Index. It’s the first time the index has exceeded 100 since November 2020, according to NFIB. Despite the increase in optimism, small business owners continued to cite finding employees as a challenge.
The American Floorcovering Alliance will host a golf tournament Sept. 13 in conjunction with its FloorTek Expo 2021, which is scheduled for Sept. 14–15 at the Dalton Convention Center in Dalton, Ga. The cost for individuals to participate in the tournament is $125, with a $500 registration fee for groups of four. The deadline to register is Aug. 6. More info can be found here.
