TTS Tooltechnic Systems, the Germany-based parent company of brands including Festool, Shaper and SawStop, announced the appointment of Sascha Menges as CEO.
Menges will take over the position from Dr. Christian Rolfs, who is retiring.
Menges previously led the Husqvarna Group, a Swedish forest and garden products company. Prior to that, Menges was a consultant for a strategy and management consultancy.
“As CEO, Sascha Menges will focus on the strategic orientation of the company and work together with the management team and all employees of the TTS Group to continue the successful track record,” the company said in a statement.
Rolfs served on the management board for the company for eight years and was instrumental in the acquisitions of Shaper, SawStop and more, the company added.
