A survey of small business owners found that 60% can't find the right workers to fill open positions, according to Alignable.
The number climbed to 69% for small business owners in the construction industry and 76% for those in manufacturing. For retailers, the number was 59%.
The top states reporting labor shortages were California (65%), Pennsylvania (60%), Florida (58%), Ohio (57%) and Texas (57%).
The survey was conducted among 6,367 small businesses from Jan. 15–Feb. 3. The full results can be viewed here.
