The National Association of Floor Covering Technicians will host a virtual Wood Science Essentials event on March 30.
The event, sponsored by Wagner Meters, will feature educational sessions from leading wood scientists in the industry, including Rubin Shmulsky, Frank Owens, Frederico França and Tammy França. Topics covered will include kiln drying and defects, wood anatomy and properties, wood identification, water and wood relations, bio degradation and preservation of wood and engineered wood and subfloors.
