Bona (Malmö, Sweden) announced the appointment of Magnus Andersson as president and CEO. Andersson will assume the new role April 4.
Andersson succeeds Kerstin Lindell, chairman of the board and interim president and CEO since January. Andersson has experience working in senior positions in global companies, most recently serving as president for Trelleborg Seals and Profiles, a Swedish company and leader in polymer engineering expertise for various industries.
“With Magnus' seniority and strong leadership qualities, we look forward to his role as president and CEO securing Bona's future development,” Lindell said in a statement. “We are very happy that Magnus will join Bona and are confident that he is the right person to lead the company to the next level with continued international growth, good profitability, and sustainable innovation and development.”
Andersson said he is looking forward to working with the entire organization and employees around the world.
