McKee, who assumed the new leadership role May 16, previously worked as contract VP of business development at CCA Global Partners.
"After a comprehensive national search that evaluated many excellent candidates, it was clear that Chris possessed the perfect intersection of leadership skills and experience, combined with a unique understanding of installation,” WFCA CEO Scott Humphrey said in a statement. “With Chris at the helm and working alongside our capable staff and dedicated members, CFI is well-positioned to grow its impact and further its critical mission."
WFCA also announced that Dave Garden, a CFI certified master II installer and former president of Installation Services LLC, will be executive director of education for CFI, a new position designed to oversee all education programs at the organization.
"This new position underscores our commitment to deliver quality training nationwide to elevate the professionalism of the trade,” Humphrey stated. “Dave has dedicated his career to furthering the installation trade and brings professional expertise, values-alignment, and a collaborative and deliberate management style that delivers results."
