The International Standards and Training Alliance (INSTALL) announced it is expanding its training offerings with the reintroduction of a Hardwood Flooring Installation course.
The 40-hour course features a curriculum developed by the Carpenters International Training Fund and built around NWFA and United Brotherhood of Carpenters standards. INSTALL recently presented the course at the Northwest Carpenters Institute (NWCI) in Burlington, Wash.
“We worked closely with INSTALL to design a Hardwood Flooring Installation course that would directly target a sizeable market that has very limited access to professional training,” NWCI instructor Steve Anderson said in a statement. “The course is based upon and incorporates the high training standards promoted by INSTALL, and that translates to the best fine-tuning opportunities for even the most seasoned hardwood flooring installers.”
NWCI is planning to offer the course again in the late summer/early fall of 2022 at its Burlington location. Registration information can be found here or by calling NWCI at (253) 437-5235.
