The Carpet Chemist, a carpet, upholstery, furniture and floor cleaning brand launched in 2018, announced that it has opened its first franchise and added hardwood floor cleaning and finishing to its services.
The new franchise is located in Chicago and will serve the LaGrange, Riverside, Brookfield and Oakbrook areas.
The company said it saw additional revenue opportunities this year in higher-end homes that now have more hardwood flooring. The company anticipates the hardwood flooring cleaning and finishing part of its services could eventually make up as much as 50% of its revenue.
The Carpet Chemist is aiming to open five additional locations in 2022 and is currently offering franchise opportunities.
