WFB Briefs: Aacer Flooring Closes Doors; Galleher Distributes Portamix Mixing Systems

Aacer Flooring (Peshtigo, Wis.) shut down operations July 31. The company announced in early June that it would close its doors, citing supply chain issues and labor market challenges. Approximately 126 employees lost their jobs as a result of the closure, the Green Bay Press Gazette reported.

Galleher LLC (Santa Fe Springs, Calif.) formed a distribution partnership with Portamix Floor Coating Mixing Systems, a New Zealand-based manufacturer of lines of mixing equipment for self-leveling floor coating. “As Galleher Commercial continues to expand our geographic footprint to meet our customer’s needs, Portamix’s brands will be an important part of our product offering going forward,” Galleher VP of Sales Clay Covington said in a statement.
