Hardwood flooring imports in the U.S. declined 21% in June after hitting a 10-year-high in May, ITTO reported.
Hardwood flooring imports “came back to earth” largely due to a steep decline in imports from Vietnam and Malaysia, ITTO stated. Imports from Brazil declined less than 1% and imports from Indonesia and China grew 70% and 10%, respectively.
U.S. engineered wood flooring imports grew 6% in June, with engineered flooring imports from Brazil more than doubling from May.
