Vehicle Crashes Into Connecticut Flooring Retail Storefront

Floors Now!, a flooring retailer in Newington, Conn., had to temporarily close its doors Aug. 22 after a vehicle crashed into its showroom.

Two occupants of a gray SUV that crashed into the building around 12 a.m. Aug. 22 were taken to the hospital, NBC Connecticut reported. The building was not occupied at the time, and the occupants of the vehicle had injuries that appeared to be non-life-threatening, according to the report.

The building received exterior damage but was later cleared by town building officials for building occupancy.
