First Semi-Finalists Announced for TISE National Installer of the Year

The first regional competition for The International Surface Event (TISE) National Installer of the Year Competition took place at the CFI Convention in Orlando July 31–Aug. 1. Pro David Beagle won the hardwood category and will receive a $500 scholarship from Mohawk and a trip to Las Vegas for the final. The finalists from each regional competition will compete for the National Installer of the Year title live on the show floor at TISE, which will be held Jan. 31–Feb. 2, 2023, at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas:
Any installer in the U.S. may enter the contest. The next regional competitions will be held at the NWFA headquarters in St. Louis on Sept. 29–30 and at the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades training facility in San Leandro, Calif., Oct. 27–28. The deadline to apply to enter the St. Louis competition is Sept. 15, and the deadline to enter for the San Leandro contest is Oct. 12. Entries may be submitted here.
