The Sherwin-Williams Company (Cleveland) announced the acquisition of Industria Chimica Adriatica, an Italian producer of industrial wood coatings for flooring, cabinets, furniture and more.
The Sherwin-Williams Company (Cleveland) announced the acquisition of Industria Chimica Adriatica, an Italian producer of industrial wood coatings for flooring, cabinets, furniture and more.
The Italian manufacturer operates globally and has facilities in Italy and Poland with approximately 600 employees. It will become a part of the Sherwin-Williams Performance Coatings Group.
"This wonderful company brings us innovative waterborne and solvent liquid coatings technology, including an award-winning range of ultra-matte protective coatings and a growing portfolio of BIO water-based coatings products, which are made with recycled raw materials," said Sherwin-Williams Chairman and CEO John G. Morikis said in a statement.
The sale is expected to close by the end of 2022.
