Footprints Floors announced the launch of “First Fruits Fund,” a charitable initiative where the company pledged to distribute 25% of its profits to a variety of family-based organizations.
The organizations assist with orphan prevention, foster care, adoption and care for single mothers.
One of the organizations is World Orphans, which aims to keep families together by providing streams of income to caregivers in extreme poverty. World Orphans has several co-ops and programs in Guatemala that teach caretakers skills for providing for their families.
“Recently, Footprints Floors placed a large custom leatherwork order, which encouraged the co-op to order four new sewing machines and one new leather etching machine, expanding its offerings and opportunities for those attending the classes,” according to the franchise.
