“Natural materials” was listed as the top trend among Houzz’s 2023 Home Design Predictions, a trend that may give wood floor pros a further advantage in the new year.
Natural materials have hit a high point in popularity, according to Houzz, and the online home renovation and design platform’s design community is predicting a surge in 2023.
“Some designers on Houzz say the surge of interest in natural materials is a result of some homeowners rethinking manmade materials like engineered quartz that have dominated homes in recent years and instead gravitating to natural materials that add character and authenticity to a space,” Houzz stated.
