Carmen Barous Assumes Ownership of Essex Silver-Line Corporation

Carmen Barous became the sole owner of Essex Silver-Line Corporation (Dracut, Mass.) following a recent purchase of the minority share of the floor sanding machine manufacturer’s stocks.

Barous, now acting CFO, previously worked at the company alongside her husband, Francis, whose father founded the company in 1938. Francis died in 2019.

Barous appointed her daughter, Lauren Goddard, CEO. John Goddard, Lauren’s husband, will remain in his role as president of Essex Silver-Line.
