“I want to find innovative ways to bridge all of the floor covering installation industry entities,” stated Gross, “while ensuring that INSTALL continues to offer industry-leading training and exacting standards, which provide drivers that move our industry forward.”
Gross assumed the position at INSTALL after serving for eight years as a full-time instructor at the Northeast Carpenters Apprenticeship Training Fund in Hammonton, N.J. He’s accumulated multiple degrees and certifications, including an Advanced Instructor Certification, a degree in economics and a Master of Business Administration. He’s also a Certified Safety Professional and Authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer. His educational background made him an ideal fit for the top role at INSTALL, the organization said.
Gross said he wants to build on the momentum generated by longtime INSTALL leader John McGrath Jr., who retired last year. Specifically, Gross plans on focusing on growing the INSTALL network throughout the Western U.S. over the next few years.
“We’ve put the initial investment in, and our investment is going to grow exponentially in the return we give to the industry,” Gross said in a statement.
