Lumber Prices Remain Steady at Pre-Pandemic Levels

Lumber prices have returned to pre-pandemic levels at around $400 per thousand board feet, News10NBC reported.

The prices have dropped more than 70% compared with lumber’s pandemic-induced peak of more than $1,600 in May 2021.

“It’s back to what we consider normal, and seasonally we typically see an increase as we get into the busier construction season,” Pride Mark Homes President Jim Barbato told NBC.
