Bona US (Englewood, Colo.) announced its Bona Certified Craftsman Program (BCCP) reached a milestone of 700 members in the U.S. and Canada.
The BCCP is in its thirteenth year and represents a network of hardwood flooring professionals certified in using the Bona System of products and standards.
“As we’ve watched the BCCP grow over the years, we’ve been selective to ensure that our members deliver outstanding results while also meeting the range of consumer needs in today’s marketplace,” stated Matt Casey, director of professional marketing & BCCP, Bona U.S.
Of the 700 BCCP members, nearly 500 have been with the program for more than five years, according to Casey.
“By being part of the BCCP these professionals benefit from continued education and training, marketing support, sales support, and networking opportunities including our Bona Certified Craftsman Convention, which we hold every other year,” Casey added.
BCCP members must own a major business focused on the installation, sanding and/or refinishing of hardwood floors; attend approved Bona Certification Training; employ industry and Bona best practices in the business; complete and pass a comprehensive BCCP test; own and operate Dust Containment Systems for all sanding equipment.
