RIVA Announces Return to Baltic Birch Plywood Cores After Shift to Teak

RIVA announced it is switching back to using Baltic birch plywood for its engineered wood flooring cores.

After the scarcity of Baltic birch plywood following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and subsequent tariffs, RIVA had shifted to using exotic teak cores in its engineered wood flooring.

“At RIVA, we are committed to providing our customers with the highest standards in the industry,” the company said in a statement. “Therefore, as supply has returned to a stable level, we have decided to use birch again as part of our wood products.”
