WFB Briefs: USDA Invests $43M in Wood Products; Women Build It Conference in August

The Biden-Harris Administration announced the U.S. Department of Agriculture will invest over $43 million to “expand innovative uses of wood,” allocating funds for 123 projects across the U.S. through Community Wood Grants and Wood Innovations Grants.


The Women Build It Conference, an event designed to connect women in the construction field, is scheduled for Aug. 30 in Fishers, Ind. The event is hosted by the Builders Association of Greater Indianapolis and Haven Media and will feature keynote speakers, round table breakout sessions, career development and more.
