Lägler’s Marc Schulz and Carina Marques Promoted to Holding Board of Directors

Carina MarquesThe Lägler holding management group in Frauenzimmern, Germany, announced that Marc Schulz (Palo Duro Hardwoods) and Carina Marques (Lägler GmbH) have been appointed to the board of directors.

Marc SchulzMarques and Schulz will now be responsible for oversight of all companies within the holding group, including Lägler GmbH, Palo Duro Hardwoods Inc., Lägler North America and Muscanell Millworks.

“[Schulz and Marques] are the next generation,” stated Karl Lägler, president of the Lägler holding group. “They are knowledgeable and have proven themselves. Their new ideas will provide a broader base for the companies.”

Schulz joined the company 13 years ago in sales and training roles and was made vice president of Lägler North America in 2015 and then vice president of Palo Duro Hardwoods Inc. in 2018. In 2019, Schulz took over management of both companies.

Marques was hired by the Lägler team in 2014 for a role in inside sales and was later promoted to process management roles for sales for Eugen Lägler GmbH. She now oversees process management for the entire Lägler group while still managing the inside sales and marketing teams.
