DeWalt launched its fifth annual DeWalt Trades Scholarship program, which will award $200,000 in scholarships to up to 40 students pursuing a trade degree or certificate at a two-year college across the U.S. and Canada.
Applications are open to high school seniors, high school graduates or current college undergraduate students who plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at a two-year college or vocational technical school.
The company is accepting applications for the scholarships at this link. The deadline to apply is Jan. 17, 2024.
“The DeWalt Trades Scholarship is one way we are working to help address the skilled trade shortage with the goal of bringing educational opportunities to the forefront and cultivating a strong workforce of future pros,” stated Frank Mannarino, president, Power Tools Group, Stanley Black & Decker.
