A 1940s Light Eight Floor Sander by American Sanders is for sale in Hiram, Ohio.
The owner, Michael Muesel, acquired the vintage machine from a friend who passed away last year. âHis parents started a carpet and flooring business many years ago that he took over when they passed,â Muesel says. âThe business became fairly successful.â

The sander still runs and has most of its parts, minus a shroud or two, says Muesel. He is seeking $275 for the machine and is open to offers.
âI don't collect sanders even though I am very much into tools,â Muesel says. âI would like to see it go to someone who could appreciate it for what it is and was.â
