AHF Products Inc. has laid off 30 non-manufacturing employees across the company, LancasterOnline reported.
“As part of our ongoing efforts to streamline operations and enhance efficiency, we have made the difficult decision to reduce our workforce through targeted layoffs, impacting about 30 white-collar positions across the company,” CEO Brian Carson told LancasterOnline.
In September, AHF shut down its Warren, Ark., hardwood flooring manufacturing facility and laid off the plant’s 130 employees.
The closure came after AHF purchased two sawmills in West Virginia and invested over $25 million in its Beverly and West Plains plants to increase capacities.
