WFB Briefs: Floor & Decor Opens Two Stores, NAHB Fundraises for Disaster Relief, More

  • Floor & Decor announced the grand opening of warehouse locations in Columbus, Ohio, and in Beaverton, Ore. Both warehouses will be staffed with a team of about 50 full-time and part-time associates. The company also announced it appointed Safelite Autoglass Executive Vice President Nada Aried to its board of directors.
  • The National Association of Home Builders launched a fundraising campaign to support rebuilding efforts for those impacted by natural disasters. NAHB will match donations made until March 1, 2025, up to $500,000.
  • National nonresidential construction spending increased 0.1% from August to September, according to an Associated Builders and Contractors analysis of U.S. Census Bure
