Job-site monitoring platform Floorcloud rebranded to CLÄ«MIT as the company moves toward working with trades outside of flooring.
CLÄ«MIT will be a comprehensive job-site monitoring platform supporting a wide array of construction disciplines, including flooring, millwork, drywall and general contractor building projects.
The new name, CLīMIT, is a play on the word “climate” and was chosen to signify the company’s “commitment to climate intelligence” within construction, the company says.
The platform will use sensor technology to help project managers monitor environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, dew point, light level and the sensor’s GPS location.
“We are grateful for the trust and support of our customers, whose collaboration and feedback have been instrumental in our journey,” CLīMIT CEO Scott Banda said in a statement. “This year marks an exciting chapter as we embrace new opportunities to serve the construction industry with expanded sensor capabilities. We look forward to continuing to help our customers protect their installations and the profitability of their businesses.”
