The S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller U.S. National Home Price NSA Index reported a 4.1% annual gain for January, up from a 4% annual gain in December 2024.
The 10-City Composite had a year-over-year increase of 5.3%, and the 20-City Composite increased 4.7%.
New York reported the highest annual gain among the 20 cities, with a 7.7% increase in January, followed by Chicago and Boston, with increases of 7.5% and 6.6%, respectively. Tampa was lowest, with prices falling 1.5%.
