Wood moisture measurement technology provider Wagner Meters (Rogue River, Ore.) recently announced its limited-time “Bounty” promotion—a nationwide effort to remove outdated wood moisture meters from circulation and replace them with Wagner’s Orion Pinless Wood Moisture Meter. Those meters use non-destructive electromagnetic wave technology to measure deep within the wood for fast, repeatable and highly accurate results, according to the company.
Through this offer, anyone can trade in any brand or model of wood moisture meter (other than Wagner) in any condition and receive $75 off the purchase of a new Orion meter. The goal of the program is to help remove unreliable wood moisture meters from the market, according to Wagner officials.
“Most warped boards or failed installations come down to one thing: inaccurate moisture readings,” said Jason Wright, Wagner’s business development specialist. “We’re calling on the industry to retire unreliable meters and join us in putting true accuracy back into professionals’ hands."
