WFB Briefs: WFCA’s First-Ever Step Up Tour, New Online Sales Manager of Flooring 4 Less, More

The World Floor Covering Association is launching its Step Up Tour this year, a nationwide initiative to meet WFCA members where they work and elevate their stories. “Throughout the year, WFCA leadership will travel across North America to visit member businesses that are investing in their teams, strengthening professionalism, and raising the bar within their communities,” the organization says.

Flooring 4 Less Online (Mesa, Ariz.), a national supplier of flooring, recently announced Dani Nelson as online sales manager. “Dani Nelson has been a valued member of the Flooring 4 Less Online team for the past five years and has helped develop the company’s growing online sales division. Her flooring career began at Lowe’s, where she first gained experience in the flooring department,” the company said in a statement.

Pending home sales in February increased 1.8% from January and dropped 0.8% year-over-year, according to the National Association of Realtors’ Pending Home Sales report. Month-over-month pending home sales increased in the Midwest (4.6%), South (2.7%) and West (0.9%), and decreased in the Northeast (3.6%). Year-over-year pending sales increased in the South (1.2%) and West (3.2%), and dropped in the Northeast (12.1%) and Midwest (0.1%).
