Global private equity company Mutares SE & Co. KGaA (Munich, Germany) recently acquired the flooring business of Hamberger Industriewerke (Stephanskirchen, Germany), known as Haro.
Haro manufactures parquet, sports flooring and other hard floor coverings, with operations in Germany and Bulgaria, and a global sales network across 70-plus countries. The business uses advanced production technology with a high level of automation, and generates approximately €150 million (about $173 million USD) in yearly revenue, according to a press release from Mutares. “Mutares sees significant growth potential, particularly through the targeted expansion of its product portfolio and the development of international markets,” it adds.
