MFMA Accepting Scholarship Applications

May 11, 2026

The Maple Flooring Manufacturers Association will award $1,000 scholarships to five students attending secondary, advanced or trade schools for the 2026–2027 academic year. Eligible fields of study include architecture, forestry, wood science and vocational programs for the wood flooring industry.

Candidates must submit completed applications including a 400–500 word essay by July 10, 2026.

The S&P Cotality Case-Shiller U.S. National Home Price Index posted a 1.5% annual gain in June, up from a 1.2% rise in May, according to S&P Dow Jones Indices. Even so, June marked the 13th consecutive month that U.S. home values fell in real terms, with inflation at 3.5%.
