The first session includes a recap of recent international trade fairs, Välinge’s latest innovations and the results from Välinge’s Future Expectations Survey that provide market insights and upcoming industry trends.

Home Prices Rise 1.5% in June, Still Trail Inflation
The S&P Cotality Case-Shiller U.S. National Home Price Index posted a 1.5% annual gain in June, up from a 1.2% rise in May, according to S&P Dow Jones Indices. Even so, June marked the 13th consecutive month that U.S. home values fell in real terms, with inflation at 3.5%.

Sales of newly built single-family homes dropped 10.5% in July to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 607,000, the slowest pace since January and 6.3% below a year earlier, according to data from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the U.S. Census Bureau.
