The Home Depot Reports $1.9 Billion Increase YoY in Q1 Sales

The Home Depot (Atlanta, Ga.) reported $41.8 billion in sales for the first quarter of 2026, a year-over-year increase of $1.9 billion (4.8%). Net earnings were $3.3 billion and $3.30 per diluted share, down from $3.4 billion and $3.45 the same time last year.

"Our first quarter results were in line with our expectations. The underlying demand in our business was relatively similar to what we saw throughout fiscal 2025, despite greater consumer uncertainty and housing affordability pressure," Ted Decker, chair, president and CEO said.
