Felder Brings PCS Safety System to Mid-Priced K700 Saws

Felder Group will debut an expansion of its Preventive Contact System at IWF Atlanta, held August 25–28 at Booth 5000/5010, extending the sliding-table-saw safety technology to its K700 series. The system, previously offered across a range of machine classes, is designed to prevent contact injuries during cutting. The show also marks the company's 70th anniversary.

The expansion targets one of the shop floor's biggest hazards. Table saws and sliding table saws caused an average of roughly 30,600 medically treated injuries a year in the United States from 2004 to 2021, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).
