Wood flooring and supplies distributor Derr Flooring (Willow Grove, Pa.) opened a warehouse and pro shop in Allentown, Pa., marking the eighth Mid-Atlantic location for the fifth-generation family-owned company. The team celebrated on July 8 with a grand opening event that included facility tours for customers.
The Allentown pro shop carries a comprehensive selection of flooring products from manufacturers including Bona, Loba, Berger-Seidle, DuraSeal, Bostik, Sika, Wakol and MAPEI. Additionally, the warehouse has inventory of unfinished red oak and white oak in strip and plank across multiple grades, as well as prefinished hardwood options.
Managed by Joe Gradin, the facility currently operates as a flooring and supply pickup location for contractors and retailers in the broader Lehigh Valley area. “For five generations Derr Flooring has proudly served the Lehigh Valley flooring community,” Chet Derr, company president, said in a press release. “We are excited to now have a physical location in Allentown, Pa., complete with a fully stocked pro shop that will cater to the flooring professional.”
The new location’s address is 964 Macron Blvd., Suite 110, Allentown, PA 18109.
Pickup and pro shop hours are 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
