Stiles Machinery Announces Distribution Agreement with Mereen-Johnson

Stiles Machinery (Grand Rapids, Mich.) announced a distribution agreement with Mereen-Johnson (Minneapolis), a manufacturer of American-made industrial rip saws, that will expand the ripping solutions available to manufacturers across North America.

Mereen-Johnson has built high-production industrial rip saws for more than a century and offers fixed arbor, shifting blade and short stock models engineered for glue-joint accuracy, lumber yield and minimal maintenance. Available models include the 312-DC/SR2 Moving Blade Rip Saw with Tracker optimizing infeed, which can process up to six 16-foot boards per minute, as well as the heavy-duty 524-DC/SR4 with Scout optimizing infeed, which rips up to ten 16-foot boards per minute.

"Collaborating with Mereen-Johnson allows us to offer a broader selection of quality saws to owners looking for reliable performance and durability that fits their shop floor and their budget," said Chuck Carter, Stiles senior product manager for solid wood.

Machines purchased through Stiles are supported by the company's nationwide field service network, in-house parts fulfillment and Stiles University training program.

Stiles also announced that it will showcase more than 60 machines and technologies at the International Woodworking Fair, Aug. 25–28 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, with exhibits at Booths B4835 and B4853 in Exhibit Building B, and Booth A9840 in Building A.
