2 17 20 Larry Le Fevre

2 17 20 Larry Le FevreLarry LeFevre, known by many throughout the industry for decades as the face of DuraSeal in Chicago, retired in January. After starting his career in the hardware business, LeFevre saw an ad in the Chicago Tribune for a regional account manager opening at Minwax and was hired in 1986 working out of Chicago selling the DuraSeal brand—a position he ended up holding for 33 years, earning nine of the brand's President Club awards in the process.

Looking back over his career, LeFevre told WFB, "Probably the thing I enjoyed the most was that we [his DuraSeal colleagues] were a team. The most pleasant memories were working with these guys, because we were like a family."

DuraSeal commented, "We wish Larry and his family continued happiness and good health for the years to come. Please join us in congratulating Larry on his retirement and thanking him for the many contributions he has made to DuraSeal."

Inheriting LeFevre's legacy is Matt Ruple. Ruple is in the Chicago area and has extensive knowledge and background in the paint and coatings industry. Ruple can be reached at (231) 750-3521 or via email
