National nonresidential construction spending took a slight dip for the second consecutive month in April but remains just 0.3% below the all-time high of $1.2 trillion established in February, according to data from the U.S. Census Bureau.
Elevated construction costs and tight financing is impeding construction in the multifamily sector, while increasing demand has led to the increase of single-family permits, according to recent findings from the National Association of Home Builders.
DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR 2024 saw a record 17,923 visitors at its recent show, which brought 83,850 professional visitors coming from 117 countries.
