Rocky Sanders of Rocky Sanders Hardwood Floors in Rossville, Ga., recalls a memorable job he did at a church. As he tells it: “I was refinishing the floors in a church that was about a 100 years old. There were 4-by-4-foot vent holes throughout the sanctuary for the heat to rise from the basement area. We had taken the vent covers out while refinishing, and while I was doing my backing up with my floor sander, I fell through one of the holes and landed in the middle of a table where a group of ladies were having a Bible study. The way they shouted, they must have thought the rapture was taking place. All I could do is say, ‘Excuse me,’ and leave the room.”
