In honor of Manufacturing Day, Armstrong Flooring (Lancaster, Pa.) will host students and business leaders for tours and activities at several of its plants. Employees at the company’s Beverly, W.V., plant will participate in the Mountain State Forest Festival, and Armstrong will sponsor a Children’s Day in the Park Oct. 4, as well as a local lumberjack competition Oct. 6. The Stillwater Chamber Manufacturing Leadership Group will tour Armstrong’s resilient flooring plant in Stillwater, Okla., Oct. 23. On Oct. 31, a group of students from Columbia High School in Lancaster, Pa., are scheduled to visit the company’s headquarters.
