The Flooring Inspectors Education Guild hosted 52 students Sept. 11-14 for a Wood Inspection Techniques seminar in Charleston, S.C.

Topics of discussion included tracking moisture into and out of the building envelope, methods to control moisture migration, using computers to monitor moisture and heat, how improper moisture control can lead to mold, and checking in engineered wood.
