Adhesive maker H.B. Fuller (St. Paul) announced Thursday it will close six manufacturing facilities and eliminate 130 positions across North America as part of its integration of Forbo Group (Baar, Switzerland), which it acquired for $394 million in December 2011.
Adhesive maker H.B. Fuller (St. Paul) announced Thursday it will close six manufacturing facilities and eliminate 130 positions across North America as part of its integration of Forbo Group (Baar, Switzerland), which it acquired for $394 million in December 2011.
Plants within H.B. Fuller's North America Adhesives business segment to be closed by mid-2013 are located in: Pointe-Claire, Quebec; Morris, Ill.; Kansas City, Kan; Eugene, Ore.; Jackson, Tenn.; and Dallas. H.B. Fuller will close Forbo's offices in Morrisville, N.C., and restructure its sales and technical teams by February 2013.
Currently, H.B. Fuller is continuing its integration assessment in Europe, India, the Middle East and Africa.
