Surface preparation company Blastrac NA (Oklahoma City) announced Monday it has been invited to participate in a "wounded warrior" homebuilding project administered by nonprofits Tunnel to Towers and The Gary Sinise Foundation. The two nonprofits will build a "smart home" for Cpl. Todd Nicely and his wife Chrystal. The two foundations build custom "smart homes" that are designed on a case-by-case basis to address specific needs of severely injured U.S. military personnel and firefighters. "The homes feature energy efficiency, ease of accessibility and automation to ultimately provide the veteran with the capability to live more independent lives," according to Tunnel to Towers.
