Beakler, who is also Armstrong's manager of installation and technical services, will give his presentation called "Environmental Effects on Wood Flooring" at 3:30 p.m.

The topics are fitting-Beakler has taught and conducted research at Penn State focusing on wood anatomy, kiln drying hardwood lumber and quantifying organic emissions from kiln drying processes.
He currently sits on the boards of the Hardwood Forestry Fund, the Keystone Kiln Drying Association and the Hardwood Plywood and Veneer Association.
