Private construction spending was at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $682.8 billion, 0.3 percent below April's revised estimate of $684.6 billion. Residential construction was at $354.8 billion, a 1.5 percent decrease month-over-month. Non-residential construction was at $328.0 billion, a 1.1 percent month-over-month increase.
