The UCLA basketball court, which last week was covered with an inch of standing water after a water main broke north of campus, will be replaced by a "new state-of-the-art court," athletic director Dan Guerrero told the Los Angeles Daily News.
The court, he said, will be ready by the end of October-not a moment too soon considering the Bruins' men's team hosts Azusa Pacific on Oct. 31 and the women play against Westmont on Nov. 2.
The stadium was fully cleaned 24 hours after the water main burst.
